Fund Raising Campaign for the Lyric Theatre

Liam Neeson, OBE, a Patron of the Lyric Theatre, has described the Lyric, which is located in Ridgeway Street, as being a beacon of hope and light for him during his early career. The actors were on stage six nights a week acting roles in plays written by a wide variety of authors which included O'Casey, Shakespear and Yeats.
Redevelopment is now the Lyric's only chance of survival. This theatre, which is expected to reopen in 2010, is raising funds in many ways including asking people to name a seat ... a personal donation of £500 or a corporate donation of £1,000 will secure your seat.
