Comspec Computer Services have commented that donating old computers is a nice idea - but should come with a little warning too.

There was someone shipping loads of old Pc's to India a while back, and there was data being recovered off the HDD's which was used by scammers, etc.

Before you send your old PC, ensure you format the HDD or use a wipedisk utility.Click here for an example of one of these utilities.
