Howdy folks

As most of you will be aware by now, Chris, Conor and myself said farewell to The Rotterdam Bar last week following our year long 'party'! We might have stayed for another few months but for the continual interference in our operations by the owner of the premises (Arthur Mooney of The Mooney Hotel Group). The bar is now under his control until such time that he has permission to finally demolish it. I'm sure this action will firmly secure his place in the Belfast history books!

Our tenure ended a bit sooner than we had anticipated, and we have had to cancel all the shows that we had booked.

One exception is ANDY McKEE who has been moved to The Black Box, Hill Street on Monday night at the slightly later time of 10.00pm. Tickets for the Rotterdam are valid for this one and gthere are still a few (very few!) left for purchase from www.cqaf.com or from The Welcome Centre, 17 Donegall Place - tel 028 90 246609.

Another is JASON RINGENBERG who will now perform in The Limelight (suitably reduced in size by drapes) on Thursday 15th May.

If you hold tickets for any other Rotterdam gigs please get in touch with me and I will arrange a refund as soon as possible.

I will return to my Old Flattop activities forthwith, and already have a full quota of tours in the pipeline including ANDY McKEE & DON ROSS, DICK GAUGHAN, ERIK MONGRAIN, GARETH PEARSON, JEFF & VIDA BAND, SPECIAL CONSENSUS BLUEGRASS BAND, JOSCHO STEPHAN GYPSY GUITAR TRIO, JACK LAWRENCE & TONY WILLIAMSON, DAN CRARY, ARTY McGLYNN & NOLLAIG CASEY.
