The Belfast Philatelic Society meet at St. Nicholas' Church Hall, Cadogan Park, Lisburn Road
Meetings start at 7.30 pm on the third Friday of each month (except July and August).

The North of Ireland Philatelic Society was founded in the autumn of 1907, sixty seven years after the introduction of the postage stamp. Since the Society was founded its monthy meetings have been held in a wide variety of places including the Carleton Café, the Lombard Café, the King George VI Memorial Hall in May Street, the top floors of the Imperial Cinema in Arthur Square, the International Hotel, the City YMCA and currently Hunter House College. Unfortunately the Society's valuable library, treasured records and minute books were destroyed in an air raid in 1941. Theme based collections were accepted by the Society in 1948. Read William Thompson's article to learn more about the Society ... www.rpsl.org.uk/northern_ireland/index.html
