Bihar Flood Relief 2008

India is reeling under floods this monsoon. In the state of Bihar, sixteen districts are in the grip of flood. The district of Supaul alone has 500 villages marooned. Innumerable amount of crops and property have been destroyed or damaged. The flood situation is very dire and every day the level of water is increasing and affecting more people.

Belfast's Indian Community appeal everyone to make generous contributions for helping relief efforts following this natural disaster. Your support will help these unfortunate victims and reduce the suffering of these people in the flood affected state, living in the remotest areas.
