Sands is working to support bereaved parents and families as well as pressing for improvements in care during pregnancy and when a baby has died. In the UK seventeen babies a day are stillborn or die in the first four weeks of life whilst four babies a week are stillborn or die in the first four weeks of life in Northern Ireland. http://www.sandsni.org
