Thursday 12th March

Michael Smiley, star of cult TV comedy Spaced, Wire in the Blood, Bleak House, and Burnside and hit movies Much Ado About Nothing, the Other Bolyn Girl and Shaun of the Dead, is heading up a night of comedy and DJ sets with his friends and a host of surprise guests at Stand Up Get Down – all to raise awareness of the children’s charity Action for Children and its As Long As It Takes campaign.

Taking place at Belfast’s Black Box Stand Up Get Down will bring together some of Ireland’s and the UK’s hottest comedians and DJs. Top Irish comedian Kevin McAleer has been confirmed with further guest comedians and DJs to be announced.
