Assistance required with fundraising

Articles regularly appear in the press about children needing special surgical operations that can't be performed in the UK. In many cases these children suffer from rare ailments which tend not to have a charity support group which results in their close family, friends, local business people and neighbours rallying round to raise funds to send them and one, or both parents, overseas so that they can have operations. The local press do a great job highlighting the stories of these children and often run fundraising campaigns as well as making a donation. Families with children who need to go abroad for an operation, or anyone who knows of such families, and require assistance with fundraising are welcome to post details on this thread. It's another way to highlight your child's story and attract more donations from the general public.
