Chris has a new album out, ‘Leave the light on’ and has provided the music for the new short film, ‘The pig’s ear’ which has been accepted at the Cannes Film Festival and the San Fernando Valley International Film Festival. Carl Verheyen, former lead guitarist of Supertramp

[i]"a major presence on guitar and has been referred as ‘one of the top ten guitar players in the world,’ [/i]by Guitar Magazine.

He is from South California and began a lifelong study of the instrument when he was ten years of age. Early in the 1980s, Carl was a sideman
in many groups, including the Victor Feldman Generation Band and keyboardist Dan Siegel’s group. Over the years Carl has played along side many big names such as Little Richard, Joe Farrell, Leanne Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Eagle Glen Fry. He also recorded a movie soundtrack with Dolly Parton & a few records with Cher. In 1985 he joined the British rock group ‘Supertramp,’ before eventually starting his solo career. Currently Carl is touring heavily, writing & recording whilst also directing a lot of focus into advanced electric guitar lessons via his workshops.

This is Carl’s second appearance at The Errigle Inn and he is once again accompanied with Walfredo Reyes Jr on Drums and Dave Marotta on Bass.
Walfredo Reyes Jr is a world renowned drummer for Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, Smokey Robinson and has played with many more. Dave Marotta also has an impressive list of performing credits such as BB King, Lionel Ritchie, Phil Collins and has worked on many motion pictures & television soundtracks.
