We live in a world where poverty often looks the same wherever you encounter it - it's got the same kinds of causes, it creates the same kind of problems. Tearfund feels there's a need to be addressed in the fight against poverty in the following five areas ... tackling Disasters, HIV; challenging Injustice; restoring the Environment and providing the basic services ... education and literacy, health & nutrition, livelihoods as well as water and sanitation.
